David Moriña - Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona

David Moriña is associate professor (professor agregat) at the Department of Mathematics of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and affiliated researcher at the Centre de Recerca Matemàtica. Previously he was lecturer at the Department of Statistics of the Universitat de Barcelona (until September 2024), and had postdoctoral stays at research centers as the Center for Research in Environmental Epidemiology and the Catalan Institute of Oncology. His research interests lie in mathematical modeling for epidemiology and public health, with particular focus on health economics. He has led research projects funded by Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, the Spanish Ministry of Health, Fundación Santander and Fundación Mapfre.
